Using DevonThink for research
I’m a big fan of DevonThink – it’s an amazing application. I also use NovaMind, so this tutorial from DevonThink was perfect for me. It shows how to use NovaMind for mindmapping, then importing the map as an OPML file into DevonThink Pro, and researching further from there.
I didn’t even know that I could import NovaMind mindmaps into DevonThink Pro, so this was a real eyeopener!

Neither did I. Thanks for the pointer! This should be very useful to me as mindmapping and Devonthink are really central to the way I work.
I have switched over to MindManager a while back but this might encourage me to use NovaMind again.
How’s your experience with MindManager? I also have it, but haven’t got around to test it a lot.
I have tried both Mind Manager and NovaMind, both on PC and Mac, and on both platforms, I much preferred NovaMind. An excellent program, hyper-responsive support people, and very reasonable pricing. The Mind Maps look 1000% better than Mind Manager. I also talked to a Buzan instructor, and he recommends NovaMind to his students, and uses it when teaching Mind Mapping.
