From my web stats, I think I get a pretty even mix of traffic from referrers (e.g. trackbacks), searches (esp. google, technorati) and direct (those who just can't hop on the RSS bandwagon). Referrers are best though, since they engage in conversation on a particular topic I'm interested in, rather than merely stumbling on my blog.
