Enomatic – the wine machines
What if you could taste all the different wines at a restuarant for a small fee? That’s how it works at Terrenos Vinotek in Sweden. Machines called Enomatics, from “eno” (latin for “wine”) and “automatic”, are placed in the restaurant. You buy a wine sampling card, and choose which wine to taste. Prices start at SEK 10 (about US$ 1.45 or Euro 1.10) for a glass.
Nice idea, but don’t count on seeing the Enomatics on every street corner too soon…
They are made in Chianti in Italy, see the Enomatic website.
